The story begins with Tom Van Minsel, whose life started with a dramatic turn due to a serious health issue that made even walking a struggle. Traditional therapies had limits, but Tom found something unexpected in VR: freedom, movement, a goal and progress. What started as a tool to overcome physical boundaries or forgetting who you are for just a moment quickly ignited a larger vision to help others break through their own.
R.A.V.E.N. Zaventem is more than a tech hub, it’s the life’s work of Tom Van Minsel, a visionary entrepreneur with a passion for immersive technology, digital education, and meaningful impact.
What started as a fascination with VR quickly evolved into a mission: to bring the power of Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR), and interactive experiences to businesses, schools, and public events across Europe. A Personal Challenge Became a Purpose
Tom Van Minsel’s journey began with a serious health setback. After facing a condition that severely limited his ability to walk, he found himself stuck physically, mentally, and emotionally. Traditional therapy offered limited hope. That struggle became the driving force behind everything he does today.
